Purposeful learning for teens ready to think deeper, take ownership, and step forward with confidence.

The teenage years are a powerful season of growth, questioning, and discovery. At Wildflower, our Pathfinders program is designed to support adolescents as they move toward independence — intellectually, emotionally, socially, and spiritually.

Rather than replicating traditional school models, Pathfinders offers teens a learning environment that values curiosity, responsibility, meaningful work, and strong relationships. Here, students are encouraged to think deeply, engage thoughtfully, explore their interests, and build the skills they need for life beyond high school.

This is education rooted in purpose, not pressure.

At co-op I have time to focus on what I want without being overloaded by work...here it’s not about the “work”, it’s about the understanding and I like that.

A Thoughtfully Designed Learning Experience

Pathfinders offers a customizable blend of academic and enrichment classes that allows families to build a program for learning that reflects each teen’s goals, strengths, and interests.

MORNING MINDSET

Teens start their co-op day with faith-based discussions that support purpose, identity, motivation, and values‑driven growth.

Language Arts & Humanities

Mentees develop strong reading, writing, discussion, and analytical skills through literature studies, research projects, presentations, and reflective writing. These courses build communication, reasoning, and self-expression.

Mathematics

With guided, small-group math learning, teens are able to progress in their individual math levels in a way that deepens understanding and promotes mastery, while developing logical thinking and problem-solving skills.

LAB Sciences

Through inquiry-based science labs, experiments, and investigations, teens learn to ask questions, test ideas, and think critically about the natural world.

Global Studies & Social Sciences

Menteees explore history, geography, civics, and economics, through discussion-based seminars and project-based learning that connects academic content to real-world understanding.

Life Skills and Passion Projects

A cornerstone of our Pathfinders program, we help prepare your teen for the world beyond high school with thoughftul courses designed to develop their ownership, resilience, independence, and confidence. They build executive functioning skills, design and execute personal projects, learn financial management, and prepare to bring their big ideas to life!

Electives & Enrichment

Electives allow teens to explore new ideas in the areas of art, design, technology, entrpreneurship, activism, sports, and more! These courses change from session to session, giving your teen ample opportunities to try new things and discover where their true interests lie.

INTERNSHIPS & SERVICE OPPORTUNITIES

Teens have access to our diverse community of professionals for applying to and securing real world experiences that support their growth and build college/career readiness.

I like that the Pathfinders classes are hands-on; it’s more engaging than traditional lecture-based learning.

We assist families with:

  • Course planning aligned with post-secondary goals

  • Transcript documentation

  • Portfolio development

  • Individualized learning pathways

  • College and career exploration guidance

Our goal is to help families create clear, authentic, and flexible high school records that reflect each student’s unique journey.

More Than Classes — A Learning Community

Pathfinders is a learning community built on mentorship, trust, and shared purpose.

Our mentors guide, support, and challenge students while fostering independence, responsibility, and accountability. Class sizes remain intentionally small to allow for deep relationships, personalized support, and meaningful engagement.

Here, teens are seen, known, and valued — not as numbers, but as developing individuals.
